Barack Hussein Obama–A Man In Love

Sand Obama

Have you seen the sculpture of Obama for the Democratic National Convention?  It is made of sand from Myrtle Beach.   While the sand sculpture of Obama is good for laughs, there is something more dangerous going on that is no laughing matter.

What is it?

It is the unbridled narcissism of Barack Obama and the cult of personality that is surrounding him at the Democrat Party.

We conservatives have noticed and it has become a joke.  When Neil Armstrong died, the photo the White House released was this one.  It was not a photo of Neil Armstrong.  It was a photo of Barack Obama starring into the heavens.

Anyone remember the biographies of former Presidents that was on the White House web site?  Those biographies were edited to include comments about Barack Obama.

What else can you say about a guy who names his dog after himself?

What else can you say about a man who gives the Queen of England an IPOD that is preloaded with his speeches?   If Barack Obama had a theme song, it would be, “The next time I fall in love, it will be with me.”

To go into politics, you have to have a healthy ego.  To stand in front of a crowd of thousands, you must have a healthy ego.  To put up with the abuse you must endure in politics you must have a healthy ego.

Barack Obama long since left the realm of healthy ego.

It is axiomatic that political campaigns are about the candidates.  Did anyone see any massive posters featuring the face of Mitt Romney at the Republican convention?  Were there any sculptures of him?

No.  There were lots of examples of the Romney/Ryan election logo, but that was it.

The massive displays of self-love are not new in politics.  We see them on a regular basis in places like North Korea and Cuba.  We see them in dictatorships past and present, such as the old Soviet Union and the old communist China of Mao.

America has never been addicted to the cult of personality, until now.  It’s not really fair to say America is addicted to the cult of personality.  The Democrats and the far left are.   The Democrats and Obama act more like he is the “Dear Leader,” instead of the President of the United States.

That is one of the reasons why Clint Eastwood’s monologue with the empty chair last week at the RNC resonated so well with the American people.

Real Americans recognize that Barack Obama is an empty suit, or to keep with the theme, an empty chair.   He is a man in life who is singularly devoid of accomplishments.  In fact, he is a man of mystery, whose life history has been made a closely guarded secret, protected by the media who acts more like a palace guard than journalists.

Today is empty chair day in honor of the Dear Leader.

The idea is simple.  Today we are flooding the Internet with photos of empty chairs to show on your Twitter account, Facebook page, Pinterest or Tumblr.

Perhaps I am a little ahead of the curve as I have been posting these photos since yesterday.  You can see some of these photos on my twitter account (twitter.com/judsonphillips) or on my personal blog on tumblr (judsonphillips.tumblr.com)

Today is the opening of the Democrat National Convention.  Let’s celebrate this by Eastwooding.   Let’s celebrate this by flooding the Internet with photos of the empty chair that represents Obama.

Let’s send a message today, just like the message we are going to send in November.
