Council of the Lord

Posted on Facebook by a local Pastor:  I wish I had even a tiny bit of the faith that he has.

We look out and see aggressive political machines. Evil men vying for power using people's base nature to seduce them with false promises. We see fraud and depravity and violence both now and throughout history. Society has thrown traditional morality to the wind. The only absolutes are there are no absolutes. Here is my comfort concerning the mess I can't do much about. "The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing, He frustrates the plans of the people. The counsel of The Lord stands forever the plans of His heart forever. Ps 33:10-11. Satan is behind the present mess inching closer to his temporary one world government and his antichrist. Then the ANCIENT OF DAYS will return and destroy him and set up His eternal Kingdom. To quote John Lennon out of his context "You say that I'm a dreamer..but I'm not the only one". And He shall reign forever and ever..King of Kings and Lord of Lords.. So have a good day!

A final Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rule due out this month is aimed at ending decades of deep-rooted segregation around the country.
