Brace yourself: The end of America is coming

Brace yourself: The end of America is coming

The Obama regime has a dream of destroying America.  The regime is filled with people who are radical leftists who believe that America is the focus of evil in the modern world.  They believe that if America is reduced to a non-power, the world will be a better place.  Now it is happening.

America as we know it is coming to an end.  We are about to see something unprecedented.  A nation is voluntarily erasing its border and refusing to stop an invasion.

The President of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Employees Union has launched a blistering attack on the Obama regime and its new immigration enforcement guidelines.  The Obama regime worked with illegal alien advocates to create guidelines that make it all but impossible to enforce immigration laws.

In Beaver Meadows Pennsylvania, you can already see the effects.  A local TV channel news story reports that ICE is already refusing to pick up illegals caught by local law enforcement.  The new guidelines claim that felons should be deported but if you see the video here, one of the men they show being picked up had just been released from prison for MANSLAUGHTER. That is a felony!

With ICE being told not to deport anyone except “felons, risks to National Security and repeat offenders,” illegals and wannabe illegals understand perfectly what is going on.  There is no disincentive to come to this country.  No one is going to do anything.

In the next few months, the ten to twenty million figure is going to swell.   The Border Patrol is now told to tell illegal to “turn back south.” They are being told not to enforce the law on the border.   Border Patrol interdiction teams are being told to face off against well-armed drug smugglers by using “bean bag” guns first.

And then there is the occasional persecution of an ICE agent.   Jesus Diaz is a border patrol agent.  He is now in Federal Prison, indicted by the same former United States Attorney who indicted other Border Patrol Agents for simply doing their jobs.  Diaz’s crime? He handcuffed an illegal immigrant and later when the illegal resisted arrest, Diaz used the cuffs to gain leverage over the illegal.   This is a standard police tactic.  Diaz was cleared by an internal investigation, yet later indicted and has now been convicted.  The illegal he allegedly assaulted?  He got legal residency.  There is a Facebook Group to support Agent Diaz.  It is here.

While the government refuses to protect the borders, it is making war on Americans.  Enough is enough.

We need to call Congress today and demand they hold hearings on the Obama regime’s refusal to enforce our immigration laws.   The rule of law has collapsed in Mexico and that anarchy is already moving north.  If we do not reestablish our southern border and start removing illegals, we will see that kind of lawlessness on the streets of America, before the end of this year.

Obama LIE of the Day

I think it's patently obvious that the president is focused on the economy.

Report: Obama Administration Rewards Big Donors With Jobs

Anyone surprised by this report has simply not been paying attention.

President Obama launched his campaign in 2007 promising a change in the way business is done in Washington, D.C., but today a report from the Center for Public Integrity says that when it comes to major campaign donors scoring plum administration positions, it's business as usual.

The report says that 184 out of 556 2008 Obama campaign "bundlers," donors who agreed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for a campaign -- or their spouses -- joined the administration in some role.

But the percentages are much higher for the big-dollar bundlers. Nearly "80 percent of those who collected more than $500,000 for Obama took 'key administration posts,' as defined by the White House," the report said.

The center pointed out that candidate Obama suggested that big moneyed interests would not have as prominent a role in D.C. during his administration.

"The cynics, the lobbyists, the special interests who've turned our government into a game, only they can afford to play," said then-Sen. Obama in his February 2007 announcement speech. "They get the access while you get to write a letter. ... The time for that kind of politics is over."

Obama: 'Economic Recovery Will Take Time' Watch Video

The White House today pushed back on the report, saying it's "hardly a story" and insisting that donations play no role in awarding the plum jobs.

"The people who got those positions got them because of their credentials," said White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. "They also happen to be donors in some cases. ... Being a supporter does not qualify you for a job or guarantee you a job, but it does not disqualify you."

It's essentially the same explanation the Bush administration gave.

"We make no distinctions about people on the basis of whether they've given or not," said White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer in January 2001.

Tom Perrelli raised $500,000 for Obama in 2008 and is now associate attorney general. Charles Rivkin did the same and is now ambassador to France. So did Donald H. Gips, ambassador to South Africa, and John Roos, ambassador to Japan.

Carney insisted that all bundlers given those positions were qualified, but earlier this year, the ambassador to Luxembourg, Cynthia Stroum -- who also was a half-million-dollar Obama bundler -- resigned right before a State Department report was issued calling her "aggressive, bullying, hostile and intimidating."

Fred Schulte, one of the authors of the report, said that there is a difference between the Bush administration and the Obama administration.

"We did look at the administration of George Bush, which was widely criticized for appointing donors to these kinds of posts, and they had about the same number in four years that the Obama administration has had in two years," Schulte said.

According to the American Foreign Service Association, President Obama has nominated more "political" appointees for ambassadorships versus foreign service candidates than any president in at least the past 20 years. A full 36.2 percent of Obama's ambassadors are political, while just more than 30 percent of Bush's were political. Under former President Clinton, 27.82 percent of such appointments were political, while under President George H.W. Bush, 30.3 percent were political.

Thank You: Obama

Recently I was very upset because I do not like to be mocked and disrespected by anyone, let alone the President of my America.

When President Obama said, and I quote; "Since today happens to be tax day I should just point out that one-third of the Recovery Act went to tax cuts, tax cuts that strengthened the cornerstone of the American dream.  I've been a little amused over the last couple of days where people have been having these rallies about taxes. You would think they would be saying thank you. That's what you'd think".

Rush Limbaugh said it best, and I quote;
"He wants to be thanked.  Okay, I will oblige.
Mr. President, I want to thank you for seizing General Motors and Chrysler.
I want to thank you for appointing a pervert as our safe schools czar.
I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for the generational theft that you have commited with all of this borrowing and spending. You have spent the wealth of two to three, maybe four generations in the future, before they're even born.
I want to thank you, Mr. President, for insulting and endangering Israel. I want to thank you, Mr. President, for driving up the unemployment rate to near double digits for years to come. I want to thank you, Mr. President, for telling everybody that it's going to be double digits as the new norm. I want to thank you, Mr. President, for exploding the annual deficit to the level where it can never be repaid.
I'd like to thank you, Mr. President, for targeting and destroying private health insurance companies.
I want to thank you, Mr. President, for pushing for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to stand trial in New York City and receive full constitutional rights at a cost of $200 million per year.
I want to thank you for that. I want to thank you for helping to destroy the housing market, Mr. President.
And, Mr. President, I would love to thank you for your arrogance, because arrogance is part and parcel of an authoritarian leader of a regime.
I would like to also thank you, Mr. President, for your divisiveness.
I would like to thank you for ignoring the public union pension time bombs waiting to explode out there.
I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for mocking and disrespecting the American people. And I'd like to thank you for your never-ending support of the New Black Panthers and for ACORN. I'd like to thank you, Mr. President, for embracing our enemies and snubbing our allies. But most of all, Mr. President, thank you for arousing the sleeping silent majority because we have been asleep too long. November is coming, Mr. President. That is when we will really thank you". [End Quote]

Media Malpractice (the Obama fanclub)

A case of media character assassination

John Ziegler produced one of the great and definitive political films of the last few years, Media Malpractice:  How Obama got elected and how Palin got targeted.  In a lengthy piece in the Daily Caller, Zielger has made a shocking statement.  Perhaps even more shocking than the statement itself is the fact he is right.

Zielger, who has been dubbed her primary media defender has come out and said that she should not run for President.  She cannot win and will damage the chances of any conservative running.

These words, coming from a man who was Palin’s chief media defender are pretty shocking.  They are pretty accurate too.

When John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008, with one move, he saved his chances for becoming President.  When she addressed the Republican National Convention, she electrified people.  Much as Ronald Reagan did in 1976, her speech overshadowed the speech of the nominee and many conservatives said, as they did in 76, the wrong person is at the top of this ticket.

The left recognized something too.  Palin had an amazing talent as a politician.  She could be the next Reagan.   So they went after her.   It was a political kneecapping.   And, it worked.

Today Sarah Palin has a devoted following of good conservatives.  Unfortunately they are not enough.  Thanks to the media assault on her, her negative ratings are through the roof.   Any marketing expert will tell you, it is better to be unknown than to be known and not liked.  If you are unknown, you have the room to grow.  When you are as well known as Sarah Palin is, and thanks to the media hit jobs on her, to have such high unfavorability ratings, you have nowhere to go.

In a meeting with Palin, Ziegler told her point blank, she cannot beat Obama in 2012.  The Media would not allow it.   He is right.  If we need any proof of that, just look at the email hunt of a few days ago.  The State of Alaska released 24,000 emails from Palin’s time in office until September 2008.  That is not even all of her emails.  Only some of them.  The media went nuts, sending reporters to Juneau to cover the story.  The Washington Post and New York Times tried to get readers to “crowd source” the emails by asking them to go through the emails and report back anything that was found.

To the liberal media’s great disappointment, nothing was found.

John Ziegler is not a friend of mine, but he is an acquaintance.  He and I have talked a few times on the phone and exchanged several emails.  TPN has promoted a rerelease of Media Malpractice.  John is an absolute class act.  He is a fantastic guy and when he comes out and says these things about Sarah Palin, everyone should stop and listen.   John believes she is running.  I am convinced she is not.  Whether she is or she is not, we both agree that it is not a good idea for her to run.

Zielger likes to compare Sarah Palin to Bo Jackson.  The comparison is a good one.  Both had incredible natural talents and both had their potential cut short by something that was not their fault.

In August 1990, I went to Kansas City for a conference.  In the evening, after the conference had ended for the day, a friend of mine and I went to see the Kansas City Royals host the Boston Red Sox.   It was a great summer evening and a great game.  Roger Clemens was pitching for Boston and Bo Jackson was playing for Kansas City.   In the bottom of the ninth, the Royals were trailing by two runs, with two outs.   Bo Jackson got on base to load the bases.  The next hitter shot a line drive into right field.  The first two runners scored, tying the game.   Bo Jackson put all of his incredible talent into trying to make it home to win the game.   He was cut down at the plate and the game went into extra innings.

To win that game, all Bo Jackson had to do was out run the throw coming in from right field.   The Umpire was going to call Jackson safe or out depending on whether the catcher could tag him or not.

For Sarah Palin, she has no such luxury.  The Umpire in this game is the media and they will never give her the chance.  Ziegler points out in his piece what the Obama ad line will be.  She quit to become a rich celebrity, while he was busy finding and killing Bin Laden.

Game over.  In baseball parlance, it won’t matter whether the catcher tags the runner or not.  The Umpires are going to call her out.

It is not fair, but it is what is going to happen.

Sarah Palin has a tough and equally unfair decision to make.  She either runs or does not run.  If she does not run, her star fades quickly.   If she does run, wins the nomination and is soundly defeated, which is what will happen, she will be responsible for giving Obama a second term and we all know what kind of a disaster that will be.

Sarah Palin was one of those rare politicians who could have been in the same league as Reagan.   The lesson learned here is to make sure the next time we have someone of her caliber come along, we make sure the liberal media does not do to them what they did to Sarah Palin.

Courage from an unexpected place.

Courage from an unexpected place.

Far too often, politicians live down to our worst expectations.  They pander to any group with votes and they are sadly lacking in both principles and courage.  But, every now and then a candidate comes along and really does something right.  Someone stands in the face of political correctness and says what needs to be said.

Who has stood up and said what needs to be said?

Herman Cain.

On the Glenn Beck show, Herman Cain said he would require proof from Muslims they were loyal to America before they work for the United States government.  Here is a transcript of the conversation:

BECK: So wait a minute, are you saying that Muslims have to prove, there has to be a loyalty proof?

CAIN: Yes, to the Constitution of the United States of America.

BECK: Well, would you do that to a Catholic or a Mormon?

CAIN: No, I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t because there is a greater dangerous part of the Muslim faith than there is in these other religions. I know there are some Muslims who talk about but we’re a peaceful religion

Holy Cow!  There is a politician who gets it!  Someone out there realizes that Islam is making war on America.  All Muslims may not be our enemies, but all of our enemies are Muslim.

The left will go nuts over this, so will some of the RINOs.   They will bring up images of the McCarthy hearings, people being driven to suicide and if you believed the left, secret FBI squads rounding up alleged enemies of America, sending them off to secret concentration camps.

What Joe McCarthy and the House Un-American Activities Committee did back in the day was insist on one simple idea.  If you are going to work for the government of the United States, you are going to be loyal to the United States.  The left did not like it then because so many leftists were communists and were in fact not loyal to the United States.  It is a pity we do not have a loyalty test today, as that would instantly disqualify 95% of the Obama regime from holding the jobs they currently do.

Cain makes it clear this does not apply to other religions because other religions are not a threat.  Only Islam tells its followers to make war against those who do not believe and to establish a theocracy.

We keep hearing that Islam is a religion of peace, but remember past conduct is the best indicator of future behavior.  Islam has been at war with the West for 1400 years.  Muslims are told they are to be at war with the unbelievers.

The Qur’an says, “Never be a helper to the disbelievers.” Sura 28:86.  It also says, “The infidels are your sworn enemies,” Sura 4:101.  “Make war on the infidels who dwell around you,” Sura 9:123.

Major Nadal Hassan is a good example of why Muslims need to prove their loyalty to America.  He attacked soldiers at Ft. Hood, killing 14, shouting “Allah Akbar.”  In 2003 Hasan Akbar was convicted of killing two officers in Kuwait.  He was a Muslim who objected to Americans being in Muslim countries.   Captain James Yee was court-martialed for breeching security at Guantanamo.   The list goes on.

Contrary to what the left will say about this, Cain is not advocating violence or any kind of mistreatment against Muslims.  However, no one has the constitutional right to have a government job.

On this Cain is absolutely right.  If we cannot prove you are loyal to the United States, you can do many things, but you will not work for the United States government.

Illegal Alien

Another poster child for Amnesty

Illegal alien Antonio Martinez Nunez is being deported from the United States.  The fact that any illegal is being deported by the Obama regime is good news.   But there is more to this story than simply an illegal alien being deported.  This story makes you ask what is going on and has our government lost its mind?

In August 2009, Police in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, found the body of Armondo Casillas Castanedo.  An autopsy revealed Castanedo had been asphyxiated.   Castanedo was also an illegal alien.

Why was Castanedo murdered by Nunez?  Was it over a woman?  Perhaps it was over a gambling debt?  Perhaps they were both drunk?  No, according to police, Castanedo and Nunez were feuding over drug territories.

Just so the stage is set here, we have one illegal alien fighting another illegal alien over the territory they are going to sell illegal controlled substances.   Of course, these are just the people we want to allow to stay in this country, right?

Nunez fled the country after the murder, going to Mexico.  In February 2010, the Border Patrol apprehended him trying to reenter the country illegally.  This was before the Obama regime told the Border Patrol to simply turn illegals back south instead of arresting them.

While the media reports are sketchy about what happened next, the Ohio police must have had a warrant out for Nunez and when Nunez was processed, the Ohio officials were notified he was in custody.  Police in Reynoldsburg phoned down to Texas and used an interpreter to speak with Nunez who confessed to the murder.

Now, not only is there a murder but there is a confession to that murder.   Confessions are about the strongest evidence you can have of a crime.

Nunez is brought back to Ohio to stand trial for among other things, Aggravated Murder.   His court appointed, taxpayer funded lawyers, hired an interpreter to review the audiotape of the confession and they decided the Miranda warnings given to Nunez were insufficient. They then filed a motion to suppress the confession.

The Judge presiding over the case, John Bessey of Franklin County Ohio, heard the motion and then ruled in favor of the defense.   In other words, the Judge ruled the prosecution could not use the confession.   Without the confession, the prosecution’s case collapsed.

The prosecutor, Mark Wodarcyk, said the confession was the cornerstone of the case and without the confession; the prosecution could not have any prayer of winning.  So, Wodarcyk dismissed the case against Nunez.

Nunez today sits in a jail cell today, pending his deportation back to Mexico.

Nunez repeatedly entered this country illegally, killed a man, cost the taxpayers probably hundreds of thousands of dollars to investigate the case, both prosecute and defend him and now to send him back to Mexico.

When he is deported, it will probably be a matter of hours before he is back in this country.  Since the Obama regime has no interest in enforcing our immigration laws, we will have to wait until he commits another crime before he pops back up on the radar.  Hopefully, if he commits another crime, he will not kill an American.

Here’s an idea.  When we deport someone from America, there is no requirement they be sent back to their home country.  America’s only interest is getting them out of the country.  Let’s deport this guy to Afghanistan.

I know the Obama regime will not do that, but if we did, it would at least keep him from being back in Texas within 48 hours of his deportation.

Obama–Lie of the Day

Lie of the Day

There are always bumps on the road to recovery, but the overall trajectory of the economy has improved dramatically.

Hollywood Liberals (communist)

Why do we keep feeding the beast?

There is a stereotype that Hollywood is liberal and that conservatives are not only unwelcome, but in fact blacklisted.  There is a perception that Hollywood pushes a socialist agenda with its programming and its actions.   In Ben Shaprio’s new book, “Prime Time Propaganda,” major Hollywood players come out and say he is absolutely right.

So, why do we keep feeding the beast?

Why do we keep supporting Hollywood and the anti-American entertainment industry?

In 1961, then FCC Chairman Newton Minow called Television a vast wasteland.  In fifty years, little has changed.  But why do we conservatives support a medium that is so vehemently against what we stand for?

Few years ago, I quit watching scripted entertainment television.   I watch Fox News some.  I watch some reality television.  I do enjoy “The Deadliest Catch” and more recently have become addicted to “Ice Pilots.”  The last fiction show I watched was “24”.  I can’t tell you the last time I went to see a movie at the movie theater, other than taking my kids to something like “Cars.”

I, personally, refuse to support Hollywood.

Hollywood thinks they put Obama in office.  They are proud of it.  Susan Harris, the creator of SOAP and the Golden Girls says, “At least, you know, we put Obama in office, and so people, I think, are getting – have gotten – a little bit smarter.”

Hollywood producers revel in the fact they are liberals and the love to shove conservatives’ noses in it.  A great example is when the TV show “Friends” had a lesbian wedding and the actress that was cast as the minister was the half sister of Newt Gingrich.  The producers said it was a very deliberate choice.

If you are conservative in Hollywood, you better keep it quiet or you will be unemployed.  Actor Dwight Schultz was on the A-Team and also had a recurring role in the Star Trek: The Next Generation.  He auditioned for St. Elsewhere.  Bruce Paltrow was the producer and knew Schultz was a big fan of Ronald Reagan. In a great example of liberal tolerance, he said, “There is not going to be a Reagan a**hole on this show!”

The question is, why do we conservatives continue to enrich people who insult us, who work against us and who hold us in utter contempt?

A few years ago, Steven Spielberg was interviewed and asked something to the effect of which new director really worried him. Which new director had the potential to knock him off as the top director?  He said, it wasn’t someone in Hollywood that worried him. With the advent of the Internet and computers, he was now worried about the talented guy in Peoria.

It was not that long ago that the Hollywood establishment really did control entertainment.   They had a monopoly.  There were only so many movie screens you could get a movie onto.  It was almost impossible to get a film Hollywood did not like distributed.  There were only three broadcast networks and there was just no way around that monopoly.  Studios were expensive to build or rent and the equipment to film and edit the film was prohibitively expensive.

Now, with the Internet, personal computers and HD cameras that you can buy for less than $1000, the monopoly is broken.

Have you ever heard of Star Trek: Phase II?  It is a new version of Star Trek that is produced by Star Trek fans.  They are not professionals.  CBS owns the rights to Star Trek and lets them produce their episodes as long as they do not try to make a profit from Star Trek.  The show is so well done that actors from the original Star Trek have appeared on it and it has won awards.  It is a network quality show that is produced strictly for the Internet.

If these amateur Trekkies can can create a network quality show, why can’t conservatives create good entertainment geared for conservatives?  We do not need studios, Hollywood or the networks.  All we need are computers, cameras, a little talent and the Internet.  We can, if we want.

And if we do create some good conservative entertainment, we will not feed the beast any longer.
