Obama’s TSA Thugs

When you really need to make air travel inconvenient, you need the clowns at TSA.  When you need to ignore real threats, like young men from Muslim countries in favor of strip-searching 90-year-old women, you need the TSA.

But now, the TSA has gone from being the butt of jokes and the source of inconvenience to an organization of jackbooted thugs.

What has happened?

No, it is not the Viper Teams they are sending out to expand their reach and make America look ever more like a police state.

Over the holidays, the TSA decided to make a point and it destroyed luggage belonging to Todd Starnes of Fox News.  Todd is an anchor on Fox News radio and a blogger.  He is one of their best talents.

Todd posted photos and tweets about what happened on his twitter feed (@toddstarnes).

To make the story as short as possible, Todd was traveling with his luggage, which had a Fox News logo on it.   The TSA ripped the logo off of his luggage, then sliced his luggage open, sealing it with tape that said, “Inspected. Transportation Security Administration.”

Gee, I wonder how many bombs slipped through security while the TSA goons were vandalizing Todd’s luggage?

Why did the TSA goon vandalize Todd’s luggage?  Well, the obvious answer is because he does not like Fox News.  The less obvious answer is because he thought he could.

The TSA thug thought he could send a message and his union and his employer would make certain he was protected.

Last night, Todd said, “TSA says it could take up to 6 months to investigate my bag they destroyed.”

Todd, let me give you some free legal advice.  This was not a bureaucratic screw up.  This was not a case of bad service or even an accident.  You were the victim of a crime.  At the very least you were the victim of a violation of your civil rights.  There was also vandalism to your personal property.

Forget the TSA; file a criminal complaint with the FBI.  I would also file a criminal complaint with the local authorities where your bag was inspected.

The news reports do not say where he flew out of and where the bag would have been inspected.  In Tennessee, where I am licensed to practice law and where I spent 10 years as a prosecuting attorney, that vandalism would almost certainly be a felony.   There are a couple of other felony charges that would be applicable too.

Even if Todd does not file criminal charges, the FBI and federal authorities should look into this as a criminal matter.  I would hope they would but given the corrupt nature of the Obama regime, I doubt it.

One other thing that should happen is that our Congressmen and Senators should pull themselves away from having clueless celebrities come to Capitol Hill for hearings and instead schedule a hearing on what happened to Todd Starnes’ luggage and other TSA abuses.

In the meantime, we all need to very concerned about what is happening in this country.  The TSA becomes more aggressive in attacking Americans, and yet does little to advance the goal for which it was created, namely making travel safe.

Republican candidates have named the agencies they would like to see dismantled if they become President.  The TSA should rise to the top of that list.

Divorce Agreement–Liberal Vs Conservative

DIVORCE AGREEMENT THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT AND I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S BY A YOUNG PERSON, A STUDENT!!! WHATEVER HE RUNS FOR, I'LL VOTE FOR HIM.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:
--Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

--We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.
--You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.--Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.
--We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.
--You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

--We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.
--You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps,
homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens.
--We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks.
--We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC, CNN and Hollywood .

--You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.
--You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of  life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

--We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.
--You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain.

--You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

--We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt and Leaf you can find.
--You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.
--We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

--We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."
--I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World".
--We'll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.
--Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

Sincerely,
John J. Wall
Law Student and an American
P.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin & Charlie Sheen,
Barbara Streisand, & ( Hanoi ) Jane Fonda with you.

P.S.S. And you won't have to press 1 for English when you call our country.

Hawaii Five NO

Hawaii Five No

There is a controversy surrounding the filming for the popular TV show Hawaii Five-O. Ordinarily most people in the Tea Party movement do not care about what goes on in the entertainment industry. This controversy is one that does merit our attention.

What is it?

Last week, a special group of Americans made a trip to Hawaii. This was not their first trip to Hawaii. In fact, the first time all of these men were together in Hawaii was on December 7th, 1941.

Last week, these men and some of their families were back in Hawaii again for the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. Today, less than ten percent of those who served during World War II are still alive.

For the men who made this trip, there was also another tacit acknowledgement. This would be their last trip. The average age of a Pearl Harbor is in the early nineties. In fact, there are now so few Pearl Harbor survivors left that the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association is disbanding at the end of the month.

On December 9th, 24 Pacific veterans, including 23 Pearl Harbor survivors were taken to the National Cemetery of the Pacific for a memorial ceremony honoring those who fell during the attack on Pearl Harbor and those who fell during the Pacific campaign.

While the men were at the cemetery, the TV show Hawaii Five-O was filming at the cemetery. As the National Anthem was played and the ceremony went on, the CBS production crew was filming. At first they told the veterans and their families to hush, then repeatedly pushed them back and finally told them to hurry up. As the veterans were laying roses on the graves of their fallen comrades, a production employee walked through the middle of the ceremony telling them to hurry up.

Perhaps the ultimate insult came at the end, when someone with the veterans group asked if one of the cast members of Hawaii Five-O could come over and say hello to the group. The production crew refused.

These World War II vets are a tough bunch. They went through the first depression and then the Second World War. I can guarantee you they did not let this incident ruin their trip, though some of their family members might feel differently.

Unfortunately, the attitude shown by the production crew is far too common in the entertainment industry.

We all owe those men and women who served in the Second World War a debt we cannot repay.

World War II veterans are rapidly leaving us. My father served in Europe under General George Patton. He passed away in 2008. Both of my uncles served in the Navy in World War II. They are both gone as well.

CBS has issued a carefully nuanced statement claiming they would look into the incident and throwing out some boilerplate language about how they respect the veterans of World War II

Those 24 veterans will never go back to the place that changed their lives and changed history again. By the time December 7, 2012 comes around, age will have claimed even more of them. If CBS were really sorry, it would be nice of them to do something other than issue a meaningless statement.

If CBS is really sorry, perhaps they can come up with something more appropriate to show respect for some men who helped save this country. If CBS is going to do something, do it quickly, while these men are still here to appreciate it.

Obama Lie of the Day

Lie of the Day

Some billionaires have a tax rate as low as 1 percent -- 1 percent. That is the height of unfairness.

- President Obama. The White House later admitted that they have no data to back this up.

Christmas

Saw this in Facebook and I love it so much I want to share it with everyone.

Just so everyone knows, I have a CHRISTMAS TREE in my living room (not a holiday tree), my kids are getting CHRISTMAS PRESENTS (not holiday gifts) and we will eat CHRISTMAS DINNER (not a holiday meal), and I will attend a CHRISTMAS PARTY (not a holiday party). I will also very cheerfully wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS! (not... happy holidays). By the way, if you want to have a Happy Hanukah , by all means do, I respect that. If you want to have a Blessed Kwanzaa, I also respect that. I want to have a Merry Christmas, so I ask YOU to respect that!

Liberal California

Remind a liberal that California used to be a reliable Republican state.

It voted Republican in every presidential election from 1952 to 1992 with only one exception (1964). Remind a liberal further that in those days, California was renowned for having some of the most right-wing voting districts in the country (in Southern California's Orange County); and remind the liberal even further that in those days California was equally renowned for its prosperity. Since 1992, the state has been overwhelmingly Democrat, and — while flooded with illegal immigrants — native Californians have been fleeing to other states, and the economy has gone down the toilet. Is that all just a coincidence?

For Your Liberal Friends

Force them to sit down and watch the movie Patton.

Then ask them just how well we'd have done in World War II with an army led by men like Barack ("We could learn from the Nazis' outreach to Islam") Obama, draft-dodging Bill Clinton, Al ("All these explosions must be bad for the environment") Gore, Jimmy ("America has to get over her inordinate fear of National Socialism") Carter...
