As soon as I found out that Dick Cheney had received a heart transplant, I knew the barrage of hatred that would be directed his way.  I knew there would be nasty comments all over the blogs and tabloids (NYT's) that they wished he would just die, etc.  This morning one of the very first stories I heard on one of the mainstream blather shows (husband had it on), was whether he, at 71 should have gotten a heart transplant at all, and who DID NOT get a heart transplant that was younger, and in their biased opinion, perhaps MORE DESERVING of one?  They did say that he has waited about 2 years for his heart, while the typical wait is about 6 mos.  But then they went on to say that he has had heart problems since he was in his 30's, as if to say, he's flawed anyway.

Can you imagine that question being asked if it were say, Hillary or Bill Clinton?  What about Barack Obama?   Teddy Kennedy?   To the left, life should ONLY be preserved if it is one of their ideological heroes.  As I recall, Teddy Kennedy was receiving treatment right up until his death.  Why did no one say, why waste your time on him?  He's old, after all.  No, they want to keep their heroes ALIVE as long as possible.  Even when they finally croak they drag them around in effigy like a bad "Weekend At Bernies" rerun, and use their carcasses to further their unAmerican causes.

This, my friends, is what socialized medicine, with a partial board of people, or even in some cases, ONE person, deciding your fate.  Under Obamacare, if someone just doesn't like what you believe in, or stand for, it's off with your head.  If Obamacare were being implemented right now, I have NO DOUBT that Cheney would not have received a heart transplant.  Not now, and not ever.  He's too old.  And they don't like him.  Think about that for a long while.

Liberals do not believe in laws. If they disagree with a law, they have a novel solution. They simply ignore it.
In the city of Los Angeles we are seeing the latest example of this.
What is going on?
California passed a law a little while back. If you are an illegal alien and the cops stop you, they will impound your car. Technically the law says if you are driving without a valid driver's license, then they impound your car.
The city of Los Angeles, ever diligent to make certain their city is safe for illegal aliens, has announced it will simply not enforce the law.
The politically correct Los Angeles Police Department said most of those impacted are low income workers and it would not be fair to them. The costs for getting a car out of impound are quite steep in Los Angeles and according to the LAPD it unfairly deprives illegals of their ability to make a living.
What the hell?
Fair?
Is it fair to the American who loses their job or who cannot get a job because the job is being filled by an illegal alien, willing to work for less money or even work under the table.
The AAA did a study last year and found that unlicensed drivers, which overwhelmingly means illegal aliens who cannot get a license, were five times more likely to be involved in accidents and flee the scene of accidents when they were involved.
Los Angeles, which has long been a sanctuary city, is simply pandering to illegal aliens.
Here is a novel idea. Why don't we start enforcing our immigration laws and this will solve the problem. Every year, many Americans die because illegal aliens are driving on the streets and because of their poor driving abilities, they hit and kill Americans.
Is it asking the government too much to enforce our laws and protect Americans?
With the Obama Regime, it is.
Illegal alien advocates are whining, saying that this problem would be solved if we just gave illegal aliens driver's licenses.
Of course, the illegal alien advocates want us to just erase the borders, grant amnesty and let the illegals pillage America.
Hopefully we will end up with a new President in 2013 who will think Americans deserve protection and stop persecuting American states that want to protect their citizens against the invasion of illegal aliens.

AMERICA’S MOST BIBLICALLY-HOSTILE U. S. PRESIDENT

When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct.
Although he has recently singled out Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years. So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular. So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical. And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical descriptor. In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions.
Listed below in chronological order are:
(1) Numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations;
(2) Examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the
past three years in the Obama-led military;
(3) A listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally
(4) A listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s
activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and
influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.
1. Acts Of Hostility Toward People Of Biblical Faith:

· April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren't like them.” ¹
· February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011. ²
· April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus' name be covered when he is making his speech. ³
· May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House. ⁴
· April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three. ⁵
· October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions. ⁶
· November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. ⁷
· January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. ⁸
· February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. ⁹
· April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. ¹⁰
· August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception. ¹¹
· November 2011 – Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial. ¹²
· November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving speech. ¹³
· December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. ¹⁴
· January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis. ¹⁵
· February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion. ¹⁶
2. Acts Of Hostility From The Obama-Led Military Toward People Of
Biblical Faith:

· June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery. ¹⁷
· August 2011 – The Air Force stops teaching the Just War theory to officers in California because the course is taught by chaplains and is based on a philosophy introduced by St. Augustine in the third century AD – a theory long taught by civilized nations across the world (except America). ¹⁸
· September 2011 – Air Force Chief of Staff prohibits commanders from notifying airmen of programs and services available to them from chaplains. ¹⁹
· September 2011 – The Army issues guidelines for Walter Reed Medical Center stipulating that “No religious items (i.e. Bibles, reading materials and/or facts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit.” ²⁰
· November 2011 – The Air Force Academy rescinds support for Operation Christmas Child, a program to send holiday gifts to impoverished children across the world, because the program is run by a Christian charity. ²¹
· November 2011 – The Air Force Academy pays $80,000 to add a Stonehenge-like worship center for pagans, druids, witches and Wiccans. ²²
· February 2012 – The U. S. Military Academy at West Point dis-invites three star Army general and decorated war hero, Lieutenant General William G. (“Jerry”) Boykin (retired) from speaking at an event because he is an outspoken Christian. ²³
· February 2012 – The Air Force removes “God” from the patch of Rapid Capabilities Office (the word on the patch was in Latin: Dei). ²⁴
· February 2012 – The Army orders Catholic chaplains not to read a letter to parishioners that their archbishop asked them to read. ²⁵
3. Acts Of Hostility Toward Biblical Values:

· January 2009 – Obama lifts restrictions on U.S. government funding for groups that provide abortion services or counseling abroad, forcing taxpayers to fund pro-abortion groups that either promote or perform abortions in other nations. ²⁶
· January 2009 – President Obama’s nominee for deputy secretary of state asserts that American taxpayers are required to pay for abortions and that limits on abortion funding are unconstitutional. ²⁷
· March 2009 – The Obama administration shut out pro-life groups from attending a White House-sponsored health care summit. ²⁸
· March 2009 – Obama orders taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cell research. ²⁹
· March 2009 – Obama gave $50 million for the UNFPA, the UN population agency that promotes abortion and works closely with Chinese population control officials who use forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations. ³⁰
· May 2009 – The White House budget eliminates all funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with “comprehensive” sexual education, repeatedly proven to increase teen pregnancies and abortions. ³¹ He continues the deletion in subsequent budgets. ³²
· May 2009 – Obama officials assemble a terrorism dictionary calling pro-life advocates violent and charging that they use racism in their “criminal” activities. ³³
· July 2009 – The Obama administration illegally extends federal benefits to same-sex partners of Foreign Service and Executive Branch employees, in direction violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. ³⁴
· September 16, 2009 – The Obama administration appoints as EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum, who asserts that society should “not tolerate” any “private beliefs,” including religious beliefs, if they may negatively affect homosexual “equality.” ³⁵
· July 2010 – The Obama administration uses federal funds in violation of federal law to get Kenya to change its constitution to include abortion. ³⁶
· August 2010 – The Obama administration Cuts funding for 176 abstinence education programs. ³⁷
· September 2010 – The Obama administration tells researchers to ignore a judge’s decision striking down federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. ³⁸
· February 2011 – Obama directs the Justice Department to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act. ³⁹
· March 2011 – The Obama administration refuses to investigate videos showing Planned Parenthood helping alleged sex traffickers get abortions for victimized underage girls. ⁴⁰
· July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778. ⁴¹
· September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. ⁴²
· October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion. ⁴³
4. Acts Of Preferentialism For Islam:

· May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. ⁴⁴
· April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. ⁴⁵
· April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. ⁴⁶
· August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. ⁴⁷
· August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. ⁴⁸
· 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. ⁴⁹
· October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. ⁵⁰
· February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, ⁵¹ but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. ⁵²

Many of these actions are literally unprecedented – this is the first time they have happened in four centuries of American history. The hostility of President Obama toward Biblical faith and values is without equal from any previous American president.

The Obama’s are bad parents!

Who would send a 13 year old to Mexico on vacation with some friends.  If anyone else did this they would be arrested and the child taken from them.  

 

Here is the story from the Tea Party Nation

There is a story that you need to hear about but may not because the story seems to be disappearing from the web.  Why is it disappearing?  Could it be because it embarrasses Obama?

What is the story?

The story is that Barack Obama’s 13-year-old daughter has gone on spring break to Mexico with some friends.  Why someone would let their 13-year-old daughter go to Mexico on spring break is a separate story.

Because she is Barack Obama’s child, she is traveling with 25 Secret Service agents.

Is it just me or does anyone else see a problem here?

Obama wants his kid to go on Spring Break.  That is fine but the problem we have is that we the taxpayer are footing the bill for it.  How did Malia Obama get to Mexico?  I’m willing to be she did not fly Air Mexicana.  Even is she flew commercial that means that she flew down there, 25 Secret Service agents flew down there and there has to be accommodations and logistics for those agents.

How much is all of this costing the American taxpayer?

Perhaps someone should remind Obama that we are in the middle of the Great Obama Depression.  Millions are out of work.  Millions are wondering how they are going to pay for the $5 a gallon gas we are about to see thanks to his policies.  Many are worried about losing their homes.

What is Obama’s reaction?

He takes a vacation.  His wife takes a vacation.  And now his daughter takes a vacation.  It might be nice if they showed at least some sensitivity to the real Americans who are suffering because of what the Party of Treason has done to the economy but to be blunt, they do not care.

The other interesting part about this story is that since it first broke, it has been disappearing from various websites.

Why?

If Obama were a Republican and his child were doing this, the media would be screaming about it.  Instead they ignore this.

The Blaze has a great story about the disappearing story.

Inquiring minds would like to know how much Malia Obama’s trip is costing the American taxpayer.

Don’t expect the Obama regime to reveal that information any time soon.

And don’t expect the drive by media to be very interested in this story either.

You don’t know my telephone number, but I hope your staff is busy trying to find it. Ever since you called Sandra Fluke after Rush Limbaugh called her a slut, I figured I might be next.  You explained to reporters you called her because you were thinking of your two daughters, Malia and Sasha.  After all, you didn’t want them to think it was okay for men to treat them that way:

“One of the things I want them to do as they get older is engage in issues they care about, even ones I may not agree with them on,” you said.  “I want them to be able to speak their mind in a civil and thoughtful way. But here’s why I’m a little surprised my phone hasn’t rung.  Your $1,000,000 donor Bill Maher has said reprehensible things about my family.  He’s made fun of my brother because of his Down’s Syndrome. He’s said I was “f—-d so hard a baby fell out.”  (In a classy move, he did this while his producers put up the cover of my book, which tells about the forgiveness and redemption I’ve found in God after my past – very public — mistakes.)

If Maher talked about Malia and Sasha that way, you’d return his dirty money and the Secret Service would probably have to restrain you.  After all, I’ve always felt you understood my plight more than most because your mom was a teenager.  That’s why you stood up for me when you were campaigning against Sen. McCain and my mom — you said vicious attacks on me should be off limits.

Social Security Stimulus Package

It contained two tomato seeds, cornbread mix, a prayer rug, a machine toblow smoke up my a**, 10 discount coupons to KFC,and an "Obama Hope & Change" bumper sticker.

On April 6, 2008 then Senator Barack Obama, candidate for the Democrat nomination for President, said at a campaign stop, “They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

In the nearly four years since that statement President Obama, his administration and his supporters have demonstrated their ability to get bitter, cling to their secularist/Islamist cults, condoms and gay agenda or show antipathy to people who aren’t like them or implement their pro-illegal immigrant policies or negotiate with our enemies as a way to demonstrate their hate for the American people.

Have I missed anything in my statement?

Since his inauguration President Obama has done more than any other U.S. chief executive since FDR to “fundamentally change America”. Socially and economically, he has led this nation down the road to perdition. His foreign policy has lost Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Iraq and Afghanistan either to the Muslim Brotherhood or al Qaeda. He, with the willing cooperation of Congress, brought our military to its knees with the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the failure to define our enemies and a burden of 50% of the budget cuts over the next decade coming from the DOD, while the DOD constitutes only 20% of the total federal budget.

The national debt under President Obama has grown to the point of no return.  The three rails of politics: Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are either on the verge of or actually bankrupt. Rather than listen to the people about Obamacare, Obama’s followers did not care and with the help of a willing Democrat majority and a few Republicans who act like Democrats in Congress rammed it through anyway. Each week we read about new Obamacare mandates and the ever ballooning costs of this program.

President Obama and his administration created a mandate that directly violates the First Amendment, bailed out corporations violating the Fourteenth Amendment and continues to try to weaken the Second Amendment. President Obama has done all of this in the name of "social justice" and a "utopian dream of plenty for all at the expense of the few" – also known as class warfare.

Crony capitalism has become a life-long profession in Washington, D.C. for Democrats and Republicans alike. Professor Angelo M. Codevilla in his book “The Ruling Class”, defines crony capitalism as,” [The] products of [both] Democratic and Republican administrations and Congresses empower[ing] countless boards and commissions to arbitrarily protect some persons and companies while ruining others.” According to Professor Codevilla, “[O]ur bipartisan Ruling Class teaches that prosperity is to be bought with the coin of political support.”

President Obama and his supporters are now the ruling class!

What can you and I do about this? Educate ourselves, activate ourselves and activate others to take back power from the Ruling Class and return it to its rightful place in the hands of the Country Class.Professor Codevilla writes the Country Class “...asks itself: Are you willing to upset the apple cart from which you get your ration of apples?” If your answer is YES then join with me.

If you are simply looking for “a milder taskmaster” then go elsewhere.

Those of us in this fight are looking to “fundamentally change” the Republican Party and bring it back to its roots: smaller government, lower taxes and more individual freedom. “This would involve a level of political articulation of the body politic far beyond voting in elections every two years,” according toProfessor Codevilla.

So get off your butt and get going. If someone says to you any discussion of religion and politics is disruptive then they are part of the Ruling Class. It is your job to depose them if they are in office or reverse their thinking. If not move on to the next door and knock. When it opens say, “Hi, do you want to join with me to upset the apple cart?" If the person says "yes" ask them to join you as a member of the County Class!

Obama's "policy" speech filled with historical inaccuracies

Speaking yesterday about energy, the president found it necessary to casually slander Rutherford B. Hayes. In Obama’s telling, Hayes was a Luddite who, when confronted with the invention of the telephone, wondered who would ever want to use one.
“That’s why he’s not on Mount Rushmore,” Obama intoned. “He’s explaining why we can’t do something instead of why we can do something.”
It’s hard to know where to begin unraveling this, but a good place to start is the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center, where resident scholar Nan Card confirmed to any journalist who bothered calling her -- which is more than you can say for the White House speechwriting crew -- that Hayes never said anything of the kind about the telephone, or any other invention.
According to contemporaneous accounts, what Hayes really said when he first used the phone was, “That is wonderful.”

In advance of the Mississippi and Alabama primaries, Bill Maher has sent Nancy Pelosi's daughter Alexandra to make fun of poor people in the South.

As Alabama and Mississippi prepared for their Tuesday primaries, the water was warm for “aren’t Southerners stupid” jokes on HBO’s “Real Time” Friday night. But host Bill Maher went a step further, deploying House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter to Mississippi to find out just how dumb voters are down in the South.

The film Pelosi's daughter featured run down homes in the South in a highly prejudicial and insulting segment. But where to begin?

Bill Maher is from New Jersey. I don't want to regale you with "Jersey" jokes that I've heard here in New York. I have friends in New Jersey, among them people who write comments to my TPN posts. But does the name "Snooki" ring a bell? And Alexandra Pelosi's grandfather was mayor of Baltimore and U.S. Congressman from Maryland, which is considered a Southern state because it is south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

It's one thing for a jerk like Bill Maher to make these remarks, but the daughter of the recent and former Speaker of the House is a direct link to the Democratic Party leadership. This is stupid and arrogant and a virtual invitation to write off the entire South in 2012. You may recall a saying about "who the gods would first destroy, they first make mad." To that I'll add that although I'm from New York, I know when someone is too dumb to grow kudzu when I see them - and Alexandra Pelosi fits that bill. And although she may believe that "The Crimson Tide" has something to do with coastal pollution, she and her mother Nancy are going to find out what it means next November when they count votes in the South. Y'all better believe it.

And if anyone from a poor white neighborhood near Boston or Minneapolis or Salt Lake City thinks these remarks by Nancy Pelosi's daughter weren't also directed at you, you've spent too much time ice fishing and your brain has frozen. These remarks were directed at all poor and middle class white voters from Ocala, Florida to Wasilla, Alaska - and all points in between. And them is fightin' words.

Ed Schultz, for example, the blowtorch left-wing MSNBC host, called conservative radio show host Laura Ingraham a "right-wing slut" and a "talk slut." Isn't the "s" word -- aside from the "c" word -- the worst anti-woman slur a man can make? But if Schultz suffered a loss of advertisers, we never heard about it. No activists pumped out press releases arguing that a man who calls a woman a "slut" because of her political conservatism maligns all conservative woman. His punishment? One week's suspension without pay.

The sexism police long ago exempted Bill Clinton from any conversation about ill-treatment of women. Some of the same people who condemn Limbaugh for his treatment of Fluke go deaf, dumb and blind over Clinton's treatment of and statements about the women who dared confront him.

Obama priorities: 16 vacations, 90 golf outings, 100 fundraisers

When President Obama completes his second of four New York fundraisers today, he will pass the total number of fundraisers former President George W. Bush conducted through his whole 18-month reelection campaign.
To put the 100 milestone in perspective, he hasn't played golf that many times, hitting 90 while he was in Hawaii last December for the first family's Christmas vacation, one of 16 the Obama's have taken while in office.
According to CBS White House Correpondent Mark Knoller, the unofficial keeper of White House statistics, Bush at this point of his reelection campaign had attended 49 fundraisers. And over Bush's whole reelection campaign, from May 2003-November 2004, he attended a total of 97 fundraisers, of which 57 were for his Bush-Cheney reelection campaign and the rest for the Republican National Committee.
