Transparency, Obama style.

It is truly a funny moment when the left wing media turns on Obama.  But they have gotten a taste of Obama’s transparency.  They know what to expect and they do not like it.

This dust up started a few days ago.

At a fundraiser at the San Francisco St. Regis hotel, some far left activists bought a table and while Obama was speaking, broke into a chorus protesting Obama for his treatment of wiki leaks suspect and traitor Bradley Manning.

As protests go, this one was pretty original.  The singing was good.  The protestors paid their money and when their song was over they accepted being escorted out.  Unlike the Code Pink lunatics, who fight when they are thrown out of an event, these people went peacefully.

Even Obama handled it well.  He made an acceptable joke, though if you look, you can tell he is not happy.

San Francisco Chronicle reporter Carla Marinucci was in the audience as part of the White House approved press pool and when the protest broke out, she used her phone with video capabilities to capture the song.  Whether Marinucci knew about the protest in advance is not evident by the reporting, though she did have her video camera out quickly and had a good spot to observe.

The Obama regime quickly responded with their outrage.  They expect all press coverage to be fawning and they expect the press to blackout any embarrassing moments, like left wing protestors getting into a high dollar fundraiser.

For doing her job, the Obama regime removed Marinucci from the approved list of correspondents that could cover Obama’s trips to the bay area.   Her infraction?  Doing her job.   Not only did they do that, they threatened that other Hearst Newspaper reporters would be denied access to Presidential events.  Presumably the White House wanted assurances that Heart Newspapers would not distribute or even take video at future events.

Fortunately, someone at the San Francisco Chronicle has courage.  Instead of simply submitting to the Obama regime’s demands, the Chronicle went public.

The White House is now doing some serious backtracking, claiming neither Marinucci nor the Chronicle, nor Hearst Newspapers were ever threatened.  Given the total lack of credibility the White House has, I think I believe the Chronicle.

Chronicle Editor Ward Bushee issued a statement, which in part said:

Sadly, we expected the White House to respond in this manner based on our experiences yesterday. It is not a truthful response. It follows a day of off-the-record exchanges with key people in the White House communications office who told us they would remove our reporter, then threatened retaliation to Chronicle and Hearst reporters if we reported on the ban, and then recanted to say our reporter might not be removed after all.

Even the liberal media is getting jaded by the Obama regime and its treatment of the media.  Even the Chronicle expects it.  Can you imagine what would have happened had the Bush administration tried a stunt that dumb?

The Obama regime has always been heavy handed with the media.  Like socialists everywhere, they have a problem with anyone who dares to disagree with them and a real problem with anyone who voices that disagreement. 

Obama got a media pass in 2008.  He shouldn’t expect one in 2012.

New York Public Library–Not Safe For Children

The New York Public Library is now allowing patrons to surf porn on their internet connected computers.  What a great decision.  Libraries used to be a safe place for children.  No more.  Jack E. Just saw this on Facebook and thought I would share it with everyone.

An economics prof. from Siena just delivered great news on WGY! He said that the common belief that prices for everything were on the rise is "..just wrong." He went on to say that real inflation for the past year is only .3%. If you exclude food and energy. So thanks the advice professor. I now know that if I just cut food and energy from the budget I'll be livin' large! Wish I had known about that sooner.

Florida–tries to curb abortion

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (UPI) -- Florida's House voted to curb abortion through several bills, including one requiring women seeking an abortion to first review sonogram pictures of the fetus.
"It doesn't matter whether that baby drives a truck or flips burgers at McDonald's or takes Rep. [Jason] Brodeur's seat over there. It's all going to be worth it," said Republican state Rep. Paige Kreegel of Punta Gorda, who is also a doctor.

The alleged Obama birth certificate has now become a cottage industry with YouTube videos explaining why it is a fake and a torrent of articles in the mainstream press about its release by the White House.
I don’t care about it.
Well before Obama was elected I had concluded that he was a complete fake with a totally fabricated life that included not one, but two, memoirs to provide the illusion of his progress from his birth to when he began to campaign for the presidency.

A couple of weeks ago, radical leftist University of Iowa professor Ellen Lewin received an email from the college republicans of the University of Iowa, announcing a “coming out conservative” week on the college.  In the true sense of liberal tolerance, she fired off a response.

“F*** YOU, REPUBLICANS.”

While this story got some coverage in the conservative media, the drive by media ignored the story.  Why should they pay attention to it?  It does not fit their template.  After all, the perpetrator of the outrage was a liberal professor and the victims a conservative group.  The drive by media simply yawned and in effect said move on; there is no story here.

Natalie Ginty is the chair of the Iowa Federation of College Republicans and she was pretty outraged with what happened.  She was also shocked that no action has been taken against Ellen Lewin, so she has filed a formal complaint.

Given the liberal nature of the University of Iowa, the exercise is not going to be in disciplining an arrogant, out of control jerk, who has delusions of power because of her over inflated position.  It will be to see how the University can bury this.

At TPN, we have talked about Lewin before.  What is her position at the University of Iowa? She is a professor of “Gender Studies.”  Her biography states: “As a scholar working at the juncture of feminist, cultural, and medical anthropology, Lewin’s work has long concerned the ways in which women make sense of the multiple identities they derive from ethnicity, race, and class, sexual orientation, and maternal status. In lesbian and gay studies her work has focused on the construction of community in American cultural contexts, and, in response to recent debates in feminist and queer theory, to devising more nuanced understandings of concepts of resistance and accommodation.”

According to the University of Iowa website, these are the courses she teaches: Introduction to Women's Studies, Feminist Theory, Women, Health, and Healing Mothers and Motherhood, The Politics of Reproduction, Feminist Anthropology, Feminist Ethnography, Feminist Medical Anthropology, Foundations for Feminist Inquiry.

While Lewin receives her Professor’s salary to teach classes that can best be described as political indoctrination, the taxpayers of the State of Iowa and the students at the University of Iowa are footing the bill.  This fall, on average, tuition at the University of Iowa is going up by $308.   Nursing students are going to see a 41% increase while engineering students are seeing a 21% tuition increase.

The question that really should be asked here is, why is the University of Iowa even funding this professor and the “gender studies,” curriculum.  Why is there a “Woman’s studies” department, which is nothing more than a center for feminist indoctrination?

I suspect if you ask most Iowans, they would not approve of this department, so why are they being forced pay for it?  If you asked most Iowans, I suspect they would say they need more nurses and engineers and a lot fewer rabid feminazis.

So why does the State of Iowa continue to pay this professor and fund these departments in this time of economic distress?  There is someone who might be able to answer that question.  His name is Kraig Paulsen.  He is the Republican Speaker of the Iowa House of Representatives.   In Iowa, the GOP controls the House with a twenty-vote majority, though the Democrats control the State Senate with a two-vote majority.    According to the Iowa State website, his email is kraig.paulsen@legis.state.ia.us.  Perhaps we should be asking him these questions.  The President of the Iowa Senate is Jack Kibbie.  Although he is a Democrat, perhaps the same questions should be asked of him.  His email is john.kibbie@legis.state.ia.us.

We conservatives can accept business as usual.  Business is usual is liberals harassing conservatives and then when we call on it, the liberal establishment sweeping it under the carpet or we can stand and fight.

My vote is we stand and fight.  For too long, we have simply sat back and let liberals run wild.  If you have children or grandchildren in college or who will be in college in the next few years, we need to fight back so colleges and universities truly become institutions of higher learning and not liberal indoctrination factories.

President Obama's response after being forced by Donald Trump to finally release his birth certificate: 
“We do not have time for this kind of silliness,” he said to reporters after the White House released a long-form copy of his birth certificate. Potential Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stirred up the controversy in recent weeks by demanding Obama prove he was born in Hawaii, not Kenya.

“We’ve got better stuff to do.  I’ve got better stuff to do,” Obama said. “We’ve got big problems to solve, and I’m confident we can solve them, but we’re going to have to focus on them, not on this.”

He then hurried off to Chicago to tape an Oprah show and then on to New York to speak at three Democratic National Committee fundraisers.
No time for silliness.  Better stuff to do.  Big problems to solve.  Focus.

Hussein Obama IS A Muslim

What did you think of Obama’s Good Friday and Easter proclamations?

Having a hard time remembering them?  That would be because he did not issue any this year.  He issued neither a Good Friday nor Easter proclamation.

Presidential proclamations are one of the ceremonial things that every President does.  Obama seems to take delight in doing them badly. He has issued proclamations for every Muslim holiday.  He issued an incredibly politically correct and inclusive Easter greeting last year to every faith.

Hello?  Easter and Good Friday are exclusively Christian.

By an overwhelming majority, Americans are at the very least culturally Christian.  Many of them are practicing Christians.  Obama issued a lengthy proclamation for Earth Day, but of course that is an environmentalist religious holiday.

The White House spokesman made a big deal of the fact that Obama went to church on Sunday and did an Easter egg roll.  Of course the Easter egg roll would ordinarily be absolutely a no go. But Obama atoned for his sin by including convicted felons. 

Obama’s church adventure is as deliberate as everything else he does.  Every Church Obama goes to is a church that has a racist pastor.   Obama’s trip to the Shiloh Baptist church was complete with preacher Wallace Charles Smith announcing that his four week old grandson was complaining that the constitution, as written considered him only to be a 3/5 person.   I suspect the kid just needs a new diaper.

Smith at one time compared Rush Limbaugh to the KKK.

Obama is not incompetent.  His oversight of the Easter holiday is not an accident.  Most Americans celebrate Easter.  We take Good Friday off and many Americans only go to church on Christmas and Easter.    Obama ignored Easter because it represents traditional America to him.  It represents everything about America that he hates.

Some think Obama is a Muslim.  After all, he issues proclamations for all of the Muslim holidays.  He has a radical Islamist on his White House Advisory Council on Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.  He made outreach to Arab-Muslim countries a priority.  He even told the Director of NASA his mission was to make Muslim countries feel good about their contributions to science.

Obama is not a Muslim.

He is an Islamist sympathizer.  Obama, who is a Marxist, has no real religious beliefs.  He is most likely an atheist.   He sympathizes with the Islamists because they are the enemy of the people he also hates.  Islamists hate Christians and Jews. Islamists hate America.  Islamists hate freedom and anyone who would stand against their evil.

Don’t expect another Easter proclamation from Obama.  To be honest, I don’t care.  I simply want the un-American President gone from the White House.

Why do we listen to liberals?

Why do we listen to liberals?  Why do we take them seriously?  Why do we allow them to operate unchallenged?  Have you ever met any group of individuals that is so consistently wrong?  Why are we not wearing them out on this?  Why do we let the media ignore the fact they are always wrong?

How are they wrong?

Where do we start?

How about education?  We conservatives ceded education a long time ago.  Now, liberals dominate the education establishment. What is the result?  American education is terrible.  We have kids who graduate from high school who cannot even read or do basic math.   Most city schools have resources to make sure “sexually confused” teens receive the politically correct propaganda, yet most teens cannot find Iraq, Afghanistan or Libya on a map.   We have resources on campus so teens can get birth control, STD testing and treatment and abortions, yet most teens cannot balance a checkbook.   Schools have annual propaganda for “Earth day” or the  “day of silence” yet most teens cannot tell you who the Vice President is, what he does or what the Bill of Rights is.

How about State and Local Governments?  The more liberal the state, the worse the financial condition the state is.  If it were not for money coming in from the federal government, most large cities would have gone bankrupt long ago.  California, Illinois, New York and New Jersey are all facing bankruptcy.  These are all states with a long history of liberal governments, funding all kinds of liberal social experiments.   They have followed the liberal orthodoxy of taxing the productive and taxing businesses.  Every productive, affluent citizen that could has fled and so are the businesses.  In the last three years, socialist California has lost 1.15 million jobs. Mean while, in Texas, a conservative, free market state, even with the poor economy, Texas has created 165,000 jobs.   Imagine what Texas would have done of the Obama, Pelosi, Reid axis of fiscal evil had not been wrecking the national economy.

The left launched a war on poverty.   What has the result been?  It has turned into a factory for poverty.  If the war on poverty were a real war, we would have to surrender.  Everything they have done has been to promote poverty and keep people in poverty.

Noted economist and conservative writer Walter Williams has said, in America, if you will do three simple things, you almost cannot avoid getting out of poverty and moving into the middle class.  They are, do not have children until you are married.  Do not get married until you have at least graduated from high school and stay off drugs.

What has the left done over the last fifty years?  Their war on poverty has encouraged and created generations of teen pregnancy. Their policies have not only discouraged marriage but penalized it.  And they want to legalize drugs.

Can anyone point to ANYTHING liberals have done that has worked?   They have wrecked our national defense.  They have driven businesses to bankruptcy.  They are the experts in regulating us into poverty.  Remember when we had light bulbs that did not require a HAZMAT team if you broke one?

Liberals have made America dependent on foreign energy sources and despite the fact prices are rising at an obscene rate, they do nothing.    They have tried to mandate us into crummy little death traps, instead of the SUV’s America wants.

Liberals have sent American law officers to their deaths by telling them they cannot fight back with guns against heavily armed narco terrorists.

Liberals have managed to screw up one war we are in and get us into another war that we have no business in.

Can anyone name just one thing liberals have gotten right?  They have spent us into bankruptcy and created a debt that may destroy the economy.  And we are supposed to take them seriously?

If a lawyer were as incompetent as liberals are, they would be disbarred.  If an employee were as incompetent as liberals are, they would be fired.  If a banker were as incompetent as liberals are, they would be in prison.

Liberals are yet to get anything right.  Can anyone tell me why we show them any respect?

Obama’s Birth Certificate and the Drive By Media

If it isn’t important, why are they talking about it so much?

 

In the last month, Donald Trump has flirted with running for President.  He has attacked Obama over his eligibility and his polling numbers have sky rocketed.   As Trump becomes a force to be reckoned with and is getting a strong response from the American people on that issue, the drive by media is now working overtime to assure us the “birther” debate is a hoax.

They tell us it does not matter.  They tell us it has all been verified.  They tell us we are wasting our time with the “birther” issue. They tell us it is not important.

If it isn’t important, why are they spending so much time on it?

USATODAY has been the leading cheerleader for the left on this one.  Three days ago, they breathlessly editorialized that all of the birther myths had been debunked and even showed a photo of a two-year-old Barack Obama with the caption, he was born in Hawaii. To support that they linked to the “Fight the smears” website.  Yes, that is Barack Obama’s website.  Gee, what do you think his website would say?

They also linked to the liberal hack site, Factcheck.org, which amazingly enough is only cited by liberals as an authoritative source. Factcheck, with equal breathlessness announced the certification of live birth is real because it has a raised seal.   Obviously they are too busy hyperventilating to realize the problems with the certification of live birth.  For one thing, at the time, you could register a birth that did not occur in Hawaii at the time.

This is the document that George Stephanopoulos recently sprung on Michele Bachmann in a typical media “gotcha” moment, and got her to say, “well that settles it.”

No it doesn’t. 

Take a look at the “certification of live birth.”  It is a computer-generated document.  It was printed out on a laser printer.  I can guarantee you; laser printers did not exist in 1961.  In other words, it is simply the print out of a computer record.  It is not a birth certificate.

I have a birth certificate.  It has, among other things, not only the vital details about my birth, but the hospital I was born in and the name and signature of the doctor who delivered me.

None of that is on Obama’s certification.

Why is the left so worried about this issue?   There are a couple of reasons.  First, it is an issue that could gain traction with the American people.   If enough people have a reasonable doubt about Obama, they could vote against him.   More likely, if Obama were forced to produce the birth certificate, we would find something really embarrassing there.  Could it be there is something on that birth certificate that would destroy the myth of Barack Obama?

But there is a more serious issue.  This is the Holy Grail.  If the eligibility advocates are right and Barack Obama was never a natural born citizen and therefore, never eligible to be President, all of his actions as President are void.   Every law he signed, including Obamacare is gone.  Every judicial appointment, including his two Supreme Court appointments are gone.  Every executive order he signed is gone.  Regulations imposed by his appointees are gone too.  This could wipe out the Obama regime.   It could all but erase it.

One of my favorite sayings is, “It is not the chances of something happening, it is the consequences.”  The left knows that.   Which is why their media arm is working overtime to convince us that anyone who questions Obama’s eligibility is nuts.

If the question of Obama’s eligibility were all that unimportant, the media would not be spending all their time and resources trying to convince us otherwise.

Obamacare and 20112 Election

As we look to the 2012 election, we need to ask what has Obama done for us.  Marcia Wood says, "He literally hamstrung businesses (big and small) via Obamacare – that’s the healthcare bill that Pelosi, Reid and Obama crammed down our thoughts, you know the one Nancy Pelosi said we’d have to pass before anyone would know what’s in it."  What else has Obama done to us?  Read about it here on Tea Party Nation.

Earth Day co-founder killed, composted girlfriend

 

Ira Einhorn was on stage hosting the first Earth Day event at the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on April 22, 1970. Seven years later, police raided his closet and found the "composted" body of his ex-girlfriend inside a trunk.

A self-proclaimed environmental activist, Einhorn made a name for himself among ecological groups during the 1960s and '70s by taking on the role of a tie-dye-wearing ecological guru and Philadelphia’s head hippie. With his long beard and gap-toothed smile, Einhorn — who nicknamed himself "Unicorn" because his German-Jewish last name translates to "one horn"  —advocated flower power, peace and free love to his fellow students at the University of Pennsylvania. He also claimed to have helped found Earth Day.

But the charismatic spokesman who helped bring awareness to environmental issues and preached against the Vietnam War — and any violence — had a secret dark side. When his girlfriend of five years, Helen "Holly" Maddux, moved to New York and broke up with him, Einhorn threatened that he would throw her left-behind personal belongings onto the street if she didn't come back to pick them up.

And so on Sept. 9, 1977, Maddux went back to the apartment that she and Einhorn had shared in Philadelphia to collect her things, and was never seen again. When Philadelphia police questioned Einhorn about her mysterious disappearance several weeks later, he claimed that she had gone out to the neighborhood co-op to buy some tofu and sprouts and never returned.

It wasn't until 18 months later that investigators searched Einhorn's apartment after one of his neighbors complained that a reddish-brown, foul-smelling liquid was leaking from the ceiling directly below Einhorn's bedroom closet. Inside the closet, police found Maddux's beaten and partially mummified body stuffed into a trunk that had also been packed with Styrofoam, air fresheners and newspapers.

After his arrest, Einhorn jumped bail and spent decades evading authorities by hiding out in Ireland, Sweden, the United Kingdom and France. After 23 years, he was finally extradited to the United States from France and put on trial. Taking the stand in his own defense, Einhorn claimed that his ex-girlfriend had been killed by CIA agents who framed him for the crime because he knew too much about the agency's paranormal military research. He was convicted of murdering Maddux and is currently serving a life sentence.

Although Einhorn was only the master of ceremonies at the first Earth Day event, he maintains that Earth Day was his idea and that he's responsible for launching it. Understandably, Earth Day's organizers have distanced themselves from his name, citing Gaylord Nelson, an environmental activist and former Wisconsin governor and U.S. senator who died in 2005, as Earth Day's official founder and organizer.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Sen. Gaylord Nelson created Earth Day in the spring of 1970 as a way to bring national awareness to the fact that, at the time, there were no legal or regulatory mechanisms in place to protect the environment. About 20 million participants at various Earth Day events across the U.S. made Earth Day a success, and in December of 1970, Congress authorized the creation of a new federal agency to tackle environmental issues — the EPA.

Detroit–Tearing Down the Constitution

The Constitution is being repealed in this country.  Ground zero for the repeal is the Detroit area, or we should start calling it Detroitistan.

Detroit used to be the American city.  With car manufacturing, the city became the quintessential American city.  But with a series of corrupt Democrat mayors and Detroit jumping up for every federal handout, like a crack head jumping for another bump off the rock, Detroit now looks like a disaster.  Detroit is a disaster.  Urban explorers now frequent Detroit’s abandoned downtown buildings, like old schools and downtown train station.  It is like visiting an old Egyptian pyramid, only more dangerous.

Detroit has now moved into the area of stopping “crimes” in advance.   In this case, the crime was free speech.  The free speech was by Koran burning preacher Terry Jones.

Just for the record, Terry Jones is an attention whore.  But sometimes, even when you have someone like Jones, what they are doing becomes secondary to the principle.   In this case, the principle is free speech and Detroit and Wayne County are now going to be a Constitution free zone.

Jones went to Detroit to protest the Islamic Center in Dearborn.  City officials refused to issue a permit for his rally, fearing the Muslims would act out.  In Detroit, the new standard for the First Amendment is, speech is acceptable as long as Muslims are not offended.   Wayne County Michigan prosecutors brought charges against Jones for an event that had not yet occurred.  A jury was convened and they were told to decide whether Jones’ intentions were peaceful or not. 

One of the witnesses at the trial was Dearborn Police Chief Ron Hadad, who testified that Dearborn Muslims told him that the burning of a Koran was a “major crime” and that it was worse than more than a thousand deaths.”  

The Detroit Jury “convicted” Jones and another man and ordered a “Peace bond” be posted.  Prosecutors asked for a $45,000 bond for each.  The judge ordered each man to post a $1 bond and barred them from being around the Mosque for three years.   Both men refused to post the bond and were taken to jail.

In short, they were jailed for a crime that was never committed and for activities that are protected by the First Amendment.

The Dearborn/Detroit area is infamous for the arrest members of the Acts 17 group.  They are a group of Christians who wanted to discuss Islam and Christianity at the annual Arab festival.

Free speech is now illegal in Detroit.

Following the trial, a supporter of Terry Jones left the courtroom.  In a true example of liberal civility, he was surrounded by leftists who screamed to the point where he could not even hear reporters’ questions.  You can see the video here.

We are constantly fed the line that Islam is a “religion of peace,” despite all evidence to the contrary.   Does anyone really believe that if a group of Muslims had gone to Jones’ church in Florida to protest, the police would have been needed to protect them against Jones’ congregation or even the local Christian population?

Islam teaches that all other groups are inferior to Islam.  It teaches that if people do not convert to Islam, they are to be treated as second-class citizens and their rights subordinated to those of Muslims. 

We are now seeing the beginning of the Islamic Republic of Detroit.  An American citizen’s right to free speech is subordinated to the political correctness of liberalism and to Islam’s demand that it not be “insulted.”

Islam is an insult to freedom.  It is an attack on freedom.  Jones may be an idiot but he is an American and that gives him the right of free speech.  We either stop this non-sense now or twenty years from now, we will be asking what happened to our freedoms.

Ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching. President Obama’s perpetual campaign cash-o-matic machine kicks into high gear again this week as the celebrity-in-chief heads to Hollywood for several high-priced fundraisers. But while the Democrats’ 2012 re-election team stuffs its hands into every liberal deep pocket in sight, questions about the Obama 2008 campaign finance operation still fester.

Last week, the laggard watchdogs at the Federal Election Commission announced an audit of the Obama 2008 campaign committee — which raised a record-setting $750 million. White House flacks are downplaying the probe as a “routine review.”

But there’s nothing routine about the nearly $3 million Obama has spent on legal expenses to address federal campaign finance irregularities and inquiries. Roll Call reports that Obama’s campaign legal fees have exceeded all other House and presidential campaign committees, including members of Congress under ethics investigations.

There’s nothing routine about the whopping $6 million that Team Obama has refunded to individual donors since Obama took office.

And there’s nothing routine about the 26 warning letters to Obama for America totaling “more than 1,500 pages of questions and data that outlined compliance concerns — including the longest one ever sent to a presidential candidate,” according to Roll Call.

Among the Obama 2008 campaign committee’s shadiest transactions that have gone unpunished:

– Foreign funny money. Federal election law bans foreign nationals from contributing to American candidates. But during 2008, the Obama campaign was forced to return an illegal foreign donation worth $31,100 made by two brothers in the Gaza Strip, and even mainstream news outlets reported that candidate Obama’s money-handlers had routinely failed to verify citizenship by checking donors’ passports. As the Associated Press reported at the time: “One donor, Tom Sanderson of Canada, made clear his $500 contribution came from a foreign source. He included a note that said, ‘I am not an American citizen!’ Obama’s campaign took the money anyway…”

Another illegal foreign donor, Australian Richard Watters, contributed $1,000, “entering a fake U.S. passport number — a random jumble of numbers and letters” onto the Obama donation website. “He said he also checked a box stating that he was an American living overseas, ‘because I could see it wasn’t going anywhere if I didn’t do that.’”

Obama raked in at least $2 million in overseas donations.

– Online donor credit-card fraud. Weeks before the 2008 presidential election, investigative journalist Ken Timmerman blew the whistle on rampant phony straw contributors slipping through the Obama donation site. Just one example: “Mr. Good Will” from Austin, Texas. Mr. Good Will listed his employer as “Loving” and his profession as “You.” Timmerman’s analysis of 1.4 million individual donations to the Obama campaign discovered “1,000 separate entries for Mr. Good Will, most of them for $25. In total, Mr. Good Will gave $17,375. Following this and subsequent FEC requests, campaign records show that 330 contributions from Mr. Good Will were credited back to a credit card. But the most recent report, filed on Sept. 20, showed a net cumulative balance of $8,950 — still well over the $4,600 limit.”

Subsequent digging by conservative bloggers found that the Obama campaign’s donor website appeared to intentionally disable security protocols and facilitate illegal donations with bogus names, shell addresses and untraceable credit cards. Among Obama’s online “donors”: Bart Simpson, Family Guy, Daffy Duck, King Kong, O.J. Simpson, Mr. Doodad Pro, John Galt, Della Ware, Crazy Eight and Adolfe Hitler.

– Social justice funny money. In 2008, the Obama campaign wrote checks totaling more than $800,000 to a nonprofit offshoot of ACORN called Citizens Services Inc. The campaign claimed the money went to nonpartisan get-out-the-vote services. But receipts showed the funds paid for polling, advance work and event staging supplied by a nonprofit that supposedly does simple canvassing work on behalf of low-income people. The FEC allowed Obama to wave his magic wand and amend the records to change political expenses into non-political ones. As a Republican National Committee staffer commented at the time: “For a candidate who claims to be practicing ‘new’ politics, his FEC reports look an awful lot like the ‘old-style’ Chicago politics of yesterday.”

On a related front, ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief filed announced plans to file an FEC complaint last year over illegal coordination between ACORN and the Obama campaign. MonCrief publicly released Obama donor lists supplied to ACORN affiliate Project Vote, which were allegedly used to target maxed-out presidential donors. The scheme involved converting the expenditures by Project Vote, ACORN and ACORN-affiliated entities to illegal, excessive corporate contributions to the Obama presidential campaign, in violation of federal law.

Nothing to see here, move along? The only “routine” business as usual being conducted here is Chicago-style self-exemption business as usual: Rules are for fools. Let the crooked cash flow in.

Obama admin snubs Rep. Issa on 'Gunrunner' subpoena

For the first time since Republicans took control of the House and gained the power of congressional subpoena, the Obama administration has declined to comply with a subpoena issued by top GOP oversight official Rep. Darrell Issa.
In the face of a subpoena by Issa, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) provided no documents by the April 13 deadline, according to an April 20 letter from Issa to ATF’s director, Kenneth Melson.
Issa is threatening contempt proceedings if ATF does not comply.

Another Obama hypocrisy alert

Obama is a hypocrite.  We all know that.  Every liberal out there is.   While they rant and rave about how we should all do what ever it is they want us to do, they then go off and do something just the opposite.

As of late, Obama has been out there hitting the streets, telling us taxes should be increased.  We should “share the sacrifice.”  We should “share the pain.”  Those who are wealthy should pay their “fair share.”

What about the narcissist in chief?

On Monday, his tax return was released.  He made $1.7 million dollars last year.  He is certainly among the rich that he keeps lambasting. 

In his most recent tax return, his income was $1.7 million, yet  he only paid taxes on $1.34 million.  Why?  Tax deductions of course.

Obama was able to take $350,000 in tax deductions. He paid almost $434,000 in taxes.  That is about one third of his table income and less than quarter of his real income.

Barry, you are a hypocrite.  You want everyone else to pay higher taxes but not you.   Obama took deductions, which he was legally entitled to do, so he could reduce his tax burden.

On top of that, Obama is going to be getting a $12,334 refund from the IRS.

I have no respect for Obama.  He is a joke.  If he were really serious about the wealthy paying their “fair share” of taxes, he would be the first.  If he were really serious, he would not have taken a single deduction, but would have paid taxes on his full income of $1.7 million.   In addition, if he were really serious, he would return that entire refund check.  Just like the left shamed GE into returning their $3 billion dollar tax refund check.

Obama thinks the tax rates for the most successful Americans should be raised.  If he were not a hypocrite, he could have taken the lead and voluntarily paid more taxes than were required of him.  He could have voluntarily paid a million dollars in taxes.  The Federal Treasury would have accepted his check.  He could have refused the $400,000 he is paid a year by the American people.

But like all liberals, he is a hypocrite.   He takes trips on Air Force One just to go on vacation and burns tons of fuel, yet lectures average Americans when we complain about the high cost of fuel.  Americans suffer and are out of work because of his economic policies and what does he do?  He tees up for another round of golf.

That is almost as amusing as watching someone drive down the interstate with their Obama sticker on one side and their environmentalism sticker on the other side of the bumper of their big SUV that only gets ten miles to the gallon.

The top income tax rate is now 35%.  Obama wants to see that go up to at least 40% and though he will not say it now, with an election coming up, he probably wants to see it go much higher than that.  Obama paid 26%.

Barry, you are a hypocrite.

Five dollar a gallon gas: Welcome to Obama world

In the next week or so, almost every American will face $4 a gallon gas.  Many already face this.  As bad as it is now, it is going to get worse.  By Memorial Day, we will probably see $5 a gallon gas.            

While most Americans are horrified by the prospect of $5 a gallon gas, Obama seems to love the idea.  He promised us this in his campaign.  He said gas prices would necessarily rise in his administration.   But for Obama, it is not enough to stick us with high gas prices.  He wants to rub our noses in it.  Obama is having the United States loan $2.84 billion for a refinery in Columbia.  Not in the United States, but in Columbia.  It has been 40 years since the United States has built a new refinery.  Instead of trying to develop American fuel independent, he wants to make sure America must rely on nations that are not friendly to us for our fuel.

This comes after Obama made arrangements for loan guarantees so that Brazil and drill for oil off their coast.

The liberal mainstream media is in love with $5 a gallon gas.  Three years ago, when prices surged under then President Bush, the drive by media was all over Bush.  Every evening, the nightly news led with dramatic stories about how bad the gas prices were.

MSN Money came out with an article saying why we should love $5 a gallon gas.  It sounds like a typical litany of liberal wants. They want fewer Americans on the road.  They want us to give up our safe cars, our SUV’s for little crap mobiles like the spontaneously combusting Chevy Volt.  They tell us there will be shorter security lines at airports.  No there won’t.  There will be few fliers, fewer flights, fewer airlines, fewer airline employees, and fewer Americans able to travel at their leisure.   They say there will be less congestion.  That will be small consolation for Americans who cannot get to their jobs because gas costs too much.   They say we will starve those America hating regimes.   No it won’t. As long as the liberals are in power, they are never going to let us drill for our own oil.

The drive by media loves $5 a gallon gas.  They are not victimized by it.  They are in  New York or Washington.  People do not use their cars in New York and DC like we do in real America.  If you live in a rural area, you have to drive.  Most Americans  have to drive to get to their jobs.

The liberals who love $5 a gallon gas keep missing the point.  Do liberals think?  Well, no, that is an obvious answer.  How do they think food appears in stores?  Do they think that food just magically appears?  How about other goods?  Guess what?  It takes fuel to get goods to the stores.  Increases in fuel prices causes increases in retail prices, which causes inflation.

The fact liberals do not understand the basics of economics is just another reason why we need to make sure liberals never control government again.

Difference Between Muslims and Christians

The main difference between Muslims and Christians is this:

If a Bible is burned, Christians will turn the other cheek, forgive and love their enemies.

If a Koran is burned, the Muslims look for lots of innocent people to kill.

Boehner sold us out!

According to the Congressional Budget office the John Boehner surrender budget does not cut $38 billion from this years deficit.  It cuts a whopping $352 million from this year’s deficit.  As Congress prepares to vote on the budget bill today, the news only gets worse.

This is a story you are not going to see on the mainstream media.  In the mid nineties, the GOP reformed welfare.  They cut out many of the abuses of the system and reduced the welfare rolls.   Unfortunately, what no one counted on was the fact that the left will not give up.   The left wants to create a huge dependency class so they can rely on them to be reelected.

But what is going on with California is absolutely outrageous.

A report has just been released that show welfare recipients in California, who are so poor they are on welfare, have blown the tax dollars they received as benefits to vacation in places like Las Vegas, Hawaii, South Beach in Miami and even on cruise ships!

According to Fox News, since 2007, $69 million in welfare benefits have been spent in vacation destinations.  According to their report, $12 million was accessed in Las Vegas in high-end shops on the strip or in CASINOS!

This is just the fraud that was found on the surface.  It surely goes much deeper.

Seventy years ago, the thought of going on public assistance was appalling.  People would take public assistance if they had no other choices.   People were embarrassed to be on welfare.  Over the years, the left went about trying to change that.  Thirty years ago, food stamps were just that.  They were coupons that you received and it was obvious if you were buying something with them. The left wanted to “norm” welfare.  Today, welfare benefits are given on what is called an “EBT card.”  EBT stands for electronic benefits transfer.

Is the person in front of your buying their groceries with a welfare “EBT” card or their own money?  The EBT card looks just like a regular debit card.  Unless you know what you are looking for, it looks just like a card issued by a bank.

Food stamps.  They aren’t just for food anymore!  The EBT cards can be used just like debit cards, hence the ability of the people Fox News reported on, to make cash withdrawals in Las Vegas or South Beach or on cruise ships!

If you go to the Post Office and use their automated stamp machines, you can pay with your debit card or buy postage with your EBT card.  If you stop at a convenience store, you will see the signs.  They take VISA, MasterCard and EBT cards.

In the nineties, the Republicans claimed victory by “reforming” welfare.  Even Clinton tried to take credit for this popular reform.  The ink was not dry on the bill before the left tried to start undoing welfare reform.   One of their big efforts was to get people to file for disability instead of welfare.  Since Obama came into office, he has tried to push aside all of the reforms so that the Democratic dependency class would grow and they would vote for Democrats, since the party of treason could scare these people into thinking the GOP would throw them out onto the streets.

Welfare is one of the worst scams the left has pushed on America.  It is a subsidy for poverty.  One of the fundamental laws of economics is, anything you subsidize, you get more of.  Thanks to the liberal politicians we now have more poverty.

This is your tax dollars at work.  You should be outraged.

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for

maintaining my state prison security clearance.

During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers

representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who

each explained their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say. The Muslim

gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked:

"Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and

clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the

infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command

to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case,

can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he

replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of

Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so

they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?"

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to

that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope

John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.

Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them

a place in heaven!"

The Muslim was speechless!

I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you and

your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you

a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in

order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you

because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the "Diversification"

training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic

Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect

the President!

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the

ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us

sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference...

Dear American Taxpayer
For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242,000 for my vacation in Spain . My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. Those

costs were extra so I don't know how much they were.
Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days!
